Yes. Normally, at Physicians Now Urgent Care, we would be able to provide walk-in services or have you come into our office after a short phone call or consultation. However, given the risks posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have shifted to a telemedicine and telehealth visit structure in order to protect you and the other patients we serve. It’s important to clarify that we are still offering in-person and in-office care — we will just need to connect over the phone first, to determine the services and course of action you need, rather than have you come right into the office or wait in our waiting area.

Spending prolonged periods indoors is the main way that COVID-19 is spread, so we are doing our best to avoid having many people in the office or waiting for the area at once, which is why we are currently using the phone call structure. If you would like to book an appointment or are feeling ill and need our services, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. We will set you up with a telehealth appointment with one of our team members, and depending on your situation and what you need, we will schedule you in for a visit, or proceed with the best course of action.

Some of these insurance plans may require a referral from your primary care provider, so please verify this prior to contacting us, if possible. We believe that everyone should have access to quality healthcare, so our prices and services are generally fairly affordable. We can provide comprehensive care without the steep costs and long wait times in the emergency room or other acute care settings. It’s a good idea to check with your insurance provider prior to seeking our services to see what your plan covers, and how to go about billing. We can also treat patients who are on Medicare, however, you must have your Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI), a card that was administered to replace traditional Medicare identification (your Social Security Number) back in 2018.

Prior to coming to an appointment or seeking out our services, please make sure you bring the following:

• A valid state or federal government-issued photo identification card, such as a driver’s license or passport
• Current valid insurance card
• Credit card or cash (as a means to pay for services)

We may have different requirements for payment and billing depending on your personal insurance provider and whether they are in or out of network, so if you’re able to, please familiarize yourself with these policies and procedures, which are on our website.

If possible, it may also be a good idea to come to the appointment with a general sense of your personal (as well as familial) health history. This will allow us to provide you with the best and most efficient care possible.

We offer treatment and services for most non-life-threatening medical issues, including:
